VISION
The Bakersfield Compassion Christian Center, Incorporated, is a church with a vision. We are a dynamic, multi-cultural, family-oriented, teaching church, with a world outreach of evangelism, with a community plan of economic empowerment, emphasizing the Word of God, praise and worshipand intercessory prayer.

MISSION STATEMENT
Through the teaching of God’s Word, through providing wholesome fellowship, through providing financial knowledge, and providing an example of uncompromised integrity, righteousness, and excellence, we will help each person come into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and come to understand how to maximize their God given potential in a manner, which glorifies God.

STATEMENT OF FAITH – “What We Believe and Preach”
In the triune God; The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man.
The Holy Spirit is a divine person.
The Old and New Testaments are God’s divinely inspired words.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation.
Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men.
It is the will of God that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer.
The Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.
There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and unjust.
In the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ.
In water baptism and observance of the Lord’s Supper.

MINISTRIES
Early Childhood

Exciting services designed to minister to toddlers and children 6-weeks to 5 years of age, on their level, developing faith principles and teaching spiritual truths. Activities, games, puppets, and much more for your child’s total balance and enrichment!

Children’s Church
Exciting services designed to minister Biblical truths to children 6-12 years of age, using methods that make learning fun for children. Activities, crafts/games, puppets, Bible stories, memory verses, object lessons, movies, games, and free play for your child’s total spiritual enrichment!

Youth Department (Daniel Generation)
"He found them 10x’s better!" Daniel 1:20
A dynamic youth ministry for ages 13-18 years of age. "The Daniel Generation" better known as "TDG" is a generation who refuses to yield to sin, peer pressure, or even compromise. Youth can participate in the One Way Choir, Fresh Fire Praise Team, Sign of the Times, and weekly services. The youth meet each Wednesday at 7:00pm. Youth Sunday is each 4th Sunday at the 10:30am service. The Youth Pastor is Minister Roland B. Banks.

College & Career
This ministry is a fellowship for individuals in college and the infancy of their career. The purpose of this ministry is to develop these individuals holistically (spirit, soul, body, finances, relationships, etc.) (18-35 years) .

Men & Women’s Ministries
These ministries are designed for fellowship and instruction in the Word of God to develop Godly men and women of integrity.

Sunday Sunday
Designed to teach basic Christian foundational principles for the family.

Singles
The purpose of this Ministry is to develop unmarrieds (never married, widowed, divorced, and separated) into healthy, whole and complete individuals in the Body of Christ.

Distinguished Senior Saints
The Senior Saints Ministry is designed to minister to senior saints in a fun and Godly way. Seniors are encouraged and very excited about fellowship among their peers in a spiritual atmosphere. In addition to ministry of the Word, some activities are games, road trips, and forums to discuss specific topics of interest. (60+)

Blessing Bank
This ministry uses technical skill in the sharing the blessings of God among the saints in the body of Christ, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The Blessing Bank Ministry uses a computer to match up a giver’s database and receiver’s database so that in principle, this unselfish sharing can take place at a central location. At this time, we provide dry and canned foods for distribution.

Transportation
Transportation is provided to Sunday School and Church services to most centrally located areas. Call 325-4407 for a ride.
